Peru's presidential candidate Keiko Fujimori accepted on Friday afternoon run-off election's final results placing Pedro Pablo Kuczynski (PPK) as the virtual winner.
The former First Lady expressed her gratitude to electors, who supported Fuerza Popular's candidacy and government plan.
"After election results were announced and considering that several ballots are yet to be checked by Peru's Election Board (JNE), we accept ONPE results democratically [...]," Fujimori indicated.
Likewise, the ex-Congresswoman wished Kuczynski luck for the next five years in office.
Fujimori made official remarks five days following last Sunday’s run-off election.
She was joined by her party's members and supporters.
