Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has arrived in Peru's capital Lima to take part in the 8th Summit of the Americas, due to be held April 13-14.
The Canadian Government plane landed on Thursday at 7:00 PM (local time) at Air Group N°8, located in the Constitutional Province of Callao.
Upon arrival, Canada's top official received corresponding honors.
During his stay in Lima, Trudeau will hold a meeting with Peruvian
President Martin Vizcarra and other leaders from the Western Hemisphere.
Summit of the Americas
The Summit of the Americas process is a mechanism of political consensus and dialogue at the highest level that started in 1994.
Periodically, it brings together the continent's Heads of State and Government to agree on common solutions to priority issues.
The summit will bring together dignitaries from
33 nations.
