Both leaders talked about the close bilateral ties uniting the two nations.

Lastly, the two top officials agreed on the need to "deepen our joint and multilateral efforts aimed at facing the political, economic,
and humanitarian crisis in Venezuela, as well as addressing the impact of Venezuelan migration in Peru."
