Peru: Arequipa quake victims receive humanitarian aid (Photo Gallery)

Hundreds of victims of Sunday's 6.8-magnitude earthquake in Caraveli province (Arequipa region) received humanitarian assistance from Arequipa Regional Government.

Food, water, and mattresses were delivered almost immediately after the seismic event. Brigade members set up tents to shelter victims and people affected.

As is known, hundreds became homeless after this natural disaster. In fact, the quake damaged other buildings like schools, police stations, and healthcare centers.

Civil Defense brigade members, healthcare workers, police officers, and soldiers have demonstrated their commitment and dedication during this emergency situation that affected several Caraveli districts.
