Peru Ambassador presents credentials to Sultan of Brunei Darussalam

Peruvian Ambassador Guido Felipe Loayza presented credential letters to Brunei Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, the Andean country's Foreign Affairs Ministry reported.

Such credentials recognize the appointment of Loayza as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Peru to Brunei Darussalam.

The event took place on March 13.

Afterwards, the envoy held a meeting with Foreign Affairs and Trade Ministry's Acting Director to Europe and the Americas Pengiran Husaini Alauddin as well as Desk Officer for Peru Nadiah Piut Zulkifli. 

During the gathering, the draft Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on establishing a Bilateral Consultation Mechanism was officially submitted.
