U.S. Ambassador to Peru presents credentials, thankful for warm reception

The new Ambassador of the United States Stephanie Syptak-Ramnath affirmed that she feels very honored to be in Peru as a representative of her country.

"Thank you for this warm welcome; I look forward to getting to know you better and continuing to strengthen the solid friendship between our countries," the diplomat expressed in a Spanish-language message via her X account.

Stephanie Syptak-Ramnath presented credential letters in a ceremony held at the Government Palace in Lima on Thursday.


The Ambassadors to Peru of the United Arab Emirates and Estonia also presented their credentials on the occasion.

In a recent meeting held in Washington, D.C., Ambassador Syptak-Ramnath expressed her conviction to work on strengthening U.S.-Peruvian relations in order to promote the mutual interests of both countries' citizens.
