In the last quarter of the current year, specialized trade missions to the United States and Europe will be held with the aim of promoting the national garment and textile exportable supply, Peru’s Export and Tourism Promotion Board (PromPeru) announced.
The Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism of Peru (Mincetur) and PromPeru are organizing these trade missions, which will be held between October and November, the organization announced.
Efforts will be undertaken to allow Trades Offices based in both destinations to "work on" the potential-buyer monitoring process. To date, such exports are mainly shipped to Venezuela, a market going through a demand reduction process.
In this sense, PromPeru explained the sector is strategically supporting both lines of business.
