Peruvian President-elect Pedro Castillo Terrones has already arrived at the headquarters of the Foreign Affairs Ministry to participate in the official transfer-of-power activities.
The future President of Peru left his home in Lima's Breña district towards Torre Tagle Palace.
At this building, the President-elect will be decorated with the National Orders.
Afterwards, he will await the arrival of the Congress' Invitation Commission to start his journey into Parliament, where he will take the oath of office as President of the Republic.
The inauguration ceremony is slated to begin at noon. Half an hour after that, the newly-inaugurated Head of State will address the nation.
