Peruvian President Ollanta Humala Tasso held a private meeting with Secretary General of the Union of South American Nations (Unasur) Ernesto Samper Pizano this morning at the Government Palace in Lima.
Samper is in Peru on an official working visit scheduled for June 24-25.
The meeting was due to reaffirm the integration commitment of nations within the bloc.
Samper, former President of Colombia, was appointed Unasur Secretary General on August 22, 2014 for a two-year period.
