Peru's President Ollanta Humala arrived Wednesday afternoon in Boston to meet with Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick.
The Peruvian leader is scheduled to sign a memorandum of understanding between Peru and the state of Massachusetts.
Humala will visit the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), one of the world's leading schools of engineering.
He will also hold talks with MIT president Rafael Reif and witness the signing of cooperation agreements with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Humala is making a 3-day visit to the U.S., his first official trip since being elected in 2011.
