Peruvian sailor Jean Paul de Trazegnies won the 2018
International Sunfish Class Association (ISCA) World Championship.
The tournament was held in North Carolina and brought together the best 73 sailors from Puerto Rico, the United States, Argentina, Spain, Curacao, Ecuador, Italy, Colombia, the Bahamas, Guatemala, Bermuda, and Peru.
"I've been chasing this dream for several months, I would even say years. 2018 has been a very good year for me (…)," the sportsman expressed.
"I'm really happy with this achievement and I really want to go further," he added.
Lastly, de Trazegnies affirmed he has set various goals and one of them is winning gold at the Lima 2019 Pan American Games.
