Peruvian Govt condemns terror attack in Afghanistan

09:11 | Lima, Aug. 20.

The Government of Peru expresses its strongest condemnation of the suicide bombing with explosives —perpetrated by the Islamic State jihadist group in Kabul (Afghanistan)— and sends condolences, as well as solidarity to the people and government of that country over the wounded and dead people.

In this sense, the Government of Peru reaffirms its firm position of rejection of terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, supporting a rapid action against that scourge.

It also reiterates its invariable and constant commitment to the full respect for international law and human rights principles.

As is known, a bomb exploded at a wedding hall in the Afghan capital killing 63 people and wounding more than 180 last weekend.
