The Peruvian government condemned the execution of 300 Iraqi officials carried out in the city of Mosul by extremist group, self-proclaimed Islamic State of Iraq (ISIS).

Peru expressed its sincere condolences to the victim's relatives and its solidarity to the government and people of the Republic of Iraq.

Likewise, it made a call upon terrorist groups to cease violent acts.

Similarly, Peru reaffirmed the categorical rejection of terrorism in all its forms, since it attacks the most fundamental values and principles, which support the civilized coexistence among nations.

The government went on to add the country supports the efforts undertaken by the international community and the Organization of United Nations to combat the said calamity.
