Peru's PM articulates actions with Piura legislators

Prime Minister Violeta Bermudez has met with legislators representing Piura, with the aim of articulating actions to tackle the COVID-19 pandemic in this region of northern Peru.

Held on Tuesday, the meeting included the participation of Housing, Construction and Sanitation Minister Solangel Fernandez, as well as Executive-Director of the Authority for Reconstruction with Changes Amalia Moreno.

In a tweet, the Council of Ministers reported that —in her capacity as representative of the Executive Branch in Piura— Minister Fernandez has informed of the actions to respond to emergencies caused by heavy rains, which have been pounding the region in recent days, as well as the measures to tackle the COVID-19 pandemic.
