The Peruvian national soccer squad left the capital city of Lima on Wednesday afternoon en route to Santiago, where players will face Chile's home team in the third match of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 Qualifiers.

The athletes are highly motivated to grab their first victory in this South American competition after having seen a draw with Paraguay (2-2) and lost to Brazil (2-4).

Led by coach Ricardo Gareca, the national delegation left Miraflores Park Hotel facilities at 2:30 p.m. (local time) on route to Air Group No 8, from where a direct flight was scheduled to take off at 3:35 p.m.

Thus, the Inca team gets ready to play against Chile and Argentina in the third and fourth matches of the Qualifiers.

Within this framework, the Peruvian side continues its quest to defeat Chile in Santiago this Friday (November 13).

Four days later, on November 17, the red-white squad will host Argentina at the National Stadium in Lima.
