14:35 | Lake Buena Vista (U.S.), Jul. 23.

Peruvian striker Yordy Reyna is having a good sporting moment after playing a key role in the Vancouver Whitecaps' 2-0 victory over Chicago Fire on Thursday.

Reyna scored a goal and had an assist as the Vancouver Whitecaps FC qualified for the round of 16 in the MLS is Back Tournament Group B game.

The Peruvian entered in the 57th minute to replace Ryan Raposo in a match that was brought to a halt due to poor weather.

Reyna opened the scoring in the 65th minute and had an assist on Cristian Dajome's goal in the 71st.

With this result, Vancouver Whitecaps finished third in its group with three points.

"In case you were wondering what Yordy ate during the weather delay, it was the lightning," Vancouver Whitecaps FC posted on Twitter.
