The Peruvian Government has decided to extend from February 1 to 28, 2022, the suspension of passenger flights from South Africa due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

This is provided for in Ministerial Resolution No. 057-2022-MTC/01 published in the Official Gazette El Peruano on Monday night.

Flights to South Africa were suspended for the first time in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic —a decision that has been extended on several occasions due to the persistent risk of contagion by coronavirus.
