Peru's economic stability, gastronomy, and world-renowned landscapes turn the Inca country into the most attractive Latin American destination for Czech vacationers.
"Most of our citizens prefer to
visit Peru when they come to Latin America. The Czechs who have been to Peru know perfectly where to go, and those coming for the first time explore each of its attractions," the Czech government official commented.
Brabec and a delegation of 24 Czech environment-related companies presented sustainable development business opportunities at the event.
Likewise, he affirmed the
Czech Republic supports pro-sustainability policies as they help developed and emerging economies be prepared to address the effects of climate change.
"To us, this meeting constitutes an important momentum in environmental cooperation matters," Brabec pointed out.
For her part, Lima Chamber of Commerce President Yolanda Torriani stressed the good trade and
diplomatic relations between both nations.
"From Peru's perspective, partnering the Czech Republic —one of the most developed countries in the European Union with one of the highest human development rates— represents a very important opportunity for cooperation," she said.
