The
Ministry of Transportation and Communications (MTC) has determined to extend from December 01 to December 31, 2021, the suspension of passenger flights from the Republic of South Africa to Peru so as to prevent the spread of the new COVID-19 variant.
The rule states that the General Directorate of Civil Aeronautics supported and proposed extending the suspension of flights from the Republic of South Africa in response to the state of global pandemic, as well as the
appearance of a new variant of the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
In this sense, the MTC approved the aforementioned extension, meaning the suspension of passenger flights from the Republic of South Africa.
