The youngest daughter of Apple founder, Steve Jobs, will participate in the Lima 2019 Pan American Games along with the U.S. delegation. Eve Jobs is part of her country's equestrian team and will compete in the show jumping event.

Jobs, 21, tries to live a little bit far from her father's fame, who earned a wealth of US$7 billion, according to Forbes magazine. She is the third and last daughter of the marriage between Steve Jobs and Laurene Powell Jobs.

Since she was very young, she knew her passion for horses and decided to participate in equestrian competitions.
"Riding a horse helps keep you humble (…). That taught me independence, devotion and perseverance," Eve Jobs said in an interview in 2016.

Now, at Lima 2019, Steve Jobs' daughter hopes to shine on her own merit representing the U.S. equestrian team. Her participation is scheduled for August 6 in the Army's Equestrian School in La Molina district.

Eve Jobs, who also studies at Stanford University, stated in her social networks that she is getting ready to head to Lima in the coming days in order to participate at the 2019 Pan Am Games.

The equestrian sport in the Pan Am Games includes three disciplines and is one of the few sports in which men and women directly compete against each other.

The competition will last three consecutive days: the horse training event will be held on the first day, the cross country event on the second day, and the horse jumping event on the third day.
