Likewise, the top official affirmed that "we must remain vigilant in the region to prevent the vaccine from being used in an illegal and illegitimate way by criminal and power groups that attempt to gain preferential access and traffic of vaccines."
"Let's prevent that from happening and from spreading," he underlined.
According to the Peruvian statesman, it would be important to explore the possibility of creating a multilateral insurance mechanism that allows joint negotiations for compensations over the possible negative effects that vaccines could have.
