The
President of the Republic Francisco Sagasti on Wednesday participated in the ratification ceremony of the
Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP), which will enter into force in 60 days.
Peru has taken the important step of putting into effect an agreement that brings together 11 economies in the Asia-Pacific region.
The CPTPP members are Australia, Brunei, Canada, Chile, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Singapore, Vietnam, and Peru.
The event was held at the Government Palace in Lima.
