Peru President: Nothing will stop us from completing major projects

13:25 | Chimbote (Ancash region), Jun. 29.

Peruvian President Martin Vizcarra affirmed nothing will discourage his Government from solving the country's problems and completing major projects.

"The skepticism and pessimism of some are not going to discourage us from working hard," he stated.

Speaking from Chimbote, where he led a Muni-Executive Power meeting, the statesman guaranteed the implementation of sanitation, transport, health, education, and production projects under his administration.

"In the following three years, we'll carry out more key works than many governments in a five-year term," the President pointed out.

"We put our soul, heart, and life into our work," he added.

In this respect, Vizcarra said his Government calls on regional and municipal authorities to make the same effort.

This call —he explained— is addressed to current authorities and those to be elected in October.

"Elect competent authorities to make these projects a reality," the Peruvian leader emphasized.
