Peruvian President Martin Vizcarra held a meeting with Piura region authorities in order to address the priorities and projects of the northern region.
The audience took place at the Government Palace on Tuesday.
On the occasion, they were joined by representatives of the Executive Branch.
Said weather event was characterized by heavy rains, landslides, and floods, which destroyed infrastructure and crops, leaving many citizens homeless.
