Peru President: Govt makes decisions listening to citizens

Peruvian President Martin Vizcarra on Tuesday reaffirmed his administration's democratic and dialoguing character, adding it makes decisions listening to the population, under a decentralist approach and the clear goal of improving Peruvians citizens' quality of life.

In this sense, the Head of State reiterated that his administration is always on the side of citizens, who must be listened to and supported by the Peruvian State

In the presence of regional governors and a group of officials, the statesman indicated that all authorities have the obligation to act honestly and sincerely towards the population, which deserves respect


Furthermore, he said the Executive Branch works hand-in-hand with regional governments, municipalities, and communities, and that it is "always open to dialogue in order to find the best solution for them and for Peru."


Remarks were made during the closing ceremony of the First Digital GORE in the Northern Andean city of Cajamarca.
