met with mayors from the province of Aymaraes (Apurimac region) and Jaen (Cajamarca region) with whom she discussed measures to promote development projects in their jurisdictions.
The meeting took place within the framework of dialogue promoted by the Government.
At this gathering, the Head of State underscored the importance of working together.
For their part, the mayors welcomed the willingness of the Executive Branch to listen to them, strengthen governability, and work focused on their needs in matters such as agriculture, road connectivity, as well as water and sanitation.
The President also met with the Peruvian Federation of Municipal Savings and Credit Banks, to whose members she explained the need to continue boosting the country's economic reactivation.
Held at the Government Palace in Lima, this event was also attended by mayors from Tacna and Ica provinces.
