Over 20,000 people —nationals and foreigners— will attend the 23rd Huayllay Rural Tour 2019 set to take place from August 27 to September 1 in Pasco region, Huayllay Mayor Luis Marcelo Callupe projected Tuesday.
In this sense, the official underlined the importance of this festivity that will be held at the "Stone Forest" of the Huayllay National Sanctuary.
Likewise, the mayor underlined that —throughout 23 years— Huayllay Rural Tour Festival has consolidated as an opportunity to raise better awareness on the stone forest, as well as on ecologic, rural community, and adventure tourism in this site.
At over 4,000 m.a.s.l., Huayllay Stone Forest stretches over some 6,815 hectares that harbor not only interestingly-shaped rock formations, but also diverse natural wealth and cultural heritage.
