The
Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Peruvian Agency for International Cooperation (APCI) facilitated a donation from the
German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) in favor of the Regional Government of Lima.
The donation consisted of 100 thermometers, 100 oximeters, and 1,760 disposable face masks.
This contribution will be geared towards implementing the intervention plan known as "Community Health Guardians in Lima Region."
It will prioritize the primary care level with the participation of community health agents, in order to detect possible COVID-19 infections in the population of Lima region, including Venezuelan refugees and migrants.
