The Government of Peru voiced its strongest condemnation of the terror attacks in Sri Lanka and expressed its condolences and solidarity for the victims to the people and Government of such country.
Via Twitter, the Foreign Affairs Ministry informed no Peruvian citizens have so far been reported among victims or casualties from these tragic events.

AFP, the death toll from Sunday's assaults increased dramatically Monday to 290 —including dozens of foreigners. Over 500 people were wounded.
The attack saw suicide bombers hit three high-end hotels popular with foreign tourists, and three churches, unleashing carnage in Colombo and beyond.
Two additional blasts occurred as security forces conducted raids in search of suspects.
Moreover, "as tension remained high, police reported a fresh explosion as they attempted to defuse another suspected bomb found Monday near one of the three churches targeted. There were no further details, but police earlier also reported finding 87 bomb detonators scattered on the ground at a bus station and a nearby garbage dump," AFP stated.
