Peru among top 20 countries to visit in the world

"These awards motivate us to continue working for the development and professionalization of the tourism sector, providing high-quality, formal, and safe services for over 4.4 million travelers who visit us every year," PromPeru Chairman Luis Torres expressed. 

"Having satisfied tourists is translated into higher income for our country, for the benefit of all Peruvians," he added. 

Likewise, two of Aranwa hotel chain's brands were ranked first and second in the Top 30 Hotels in South America. 

The ranking included other Peruvian brands like Country Club Lima Hotel (5th), Sumaq Machu Picchu Hotel (9th), Inkaterra La Casona (12th), Belmond Hotel Monasterio (18th), JW Marriott El Convento Cusco (20th), JW Marriott Hotel Lima (23rd), Inkaterra Machu Picchu Pueblo Hotel (24th), Titilaka (25th), Palacio del Inka (27th), and Belmond Sanctuary Lodge (30th).

Furthermore, four Peruvian resorts were among the Top 20 Resorts in South America. They include Tambo del Inka, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa (5th), Hotel Paracas, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa (8th), Aranwa Pueblito Encantado del Colca (9th), and Inkaterra Hacienda Urubamba (11th). 

Condé Nast Traveler Reader's Choice Awards are among the most prestigious awards within the travel industry.
