Peru Ambassador presents credentials to South African President

Peruvian Ambassador Jorge Rubio presented credential letters to South African President Cyril Ramaphosa, the Andean country's Foreign Affairs Ministry reported.

On the occasion, the Peruvian diplomat extended President Martin Vizcarra's greeting to the South African leader. 

Likewise, Rubio expressed the interest of Peru in strengthening bilateral relations, as well as working together on the promotion and defense of democracy, the fight against corruption, the United Nations Security Council, and all multilateral issues. 

For his part, Ramaphosa took the opportunity to convey his best wishes to his Peruvian counterpart and expressed his willingness to work on all the aforementioned subjects with the Inca nation. 

Furthermore, he highlighted the African country's efforts to develop a more inclusive, democratic, and humane society. 

Lastly, the South African President affirmed his nation prioritizes international cooperation and multilateralism.
