Lima 2019: Peru's Bolivar claims bronze in women's judo

Yuliana Bolivar (PER) won judo bronze in Women's +78 kg at Lima 2019 Pan American Games on Sunday.

The Peruvian defeated Nina Cutro-Kelly from the United States by Hansoku-Make (3 Shidos) in 4:21 (GS).

The event took place at the National Sports Village (Videna).

Local athletes' efforts have enabled Peru to claim several medals throughout the event.

So far, Peruvians have won 38 medals, including gold (11), silver (7), and bronze (20).
