The Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC) published the regulation that updates the list of international destinations to be covered by commercial passenger airlines from Peru. They will total 36 starting November 1.

Each flight has a duration range of up to eight hours.

Currently, four-hour international flights are allowed to the following 11 destinations: Guayaquil and Quito (Ecuador); La Paz and Santa Cruz (Bolivia); Bogota, Cali, and Medellin (Colombia); Panama (Panama); Asuncion (Paraguay); Montevideo (Uruguay); and Santiago (Chile).

New destinations

As of November 1, citizens will be allowed to travel to

Los Angeles, New York, Orlando, Miami, Houston, and Atlanta (U.S.); Mexico City and Cancun (Mexico); Toronto (Canada); Havana (Cuba); Montego Bay (Jamaica); Punta Cana (the Dominican Republic); San Jose (Costa Rica); San Salvador (El Salvador); Cartagena (Colombia); Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo, Brasilia, Porto Alegre, and Foz do Iguaçu (Brazil); Buenos Aires, Rosario, Mendoza, Cordoba, and Tucuman (Argentina).

This was established through Ministerial Resolution No. 0727-2020-MTC/01 published in the Official Gazzette El Peruano.

This resolution and its annex are also published on the institutional website of the Ministry of Transport and Communications.
