on Wednesday supervised the arrival of Delia tunnel boring machine at Plaza Bolognesi Station of Lima Metro Line 2 in Breña district.
The Head of State was accompanied by Transportation-Communications Minister Raul Perez Reyes and Breña Mayor Luis de la Mata, among other authorities.
The tunnel boring machine entered the site accompanied by Criolla music and applause from those present.
It was reported that 18 kilometers of tunnel have been completed so far, with the aim of finishing the entire Lima Metro Line 2.
Once the project is completed, it will benefit approximately one million passengers per day, according to initial estimates.
