The Council of Ministers, led by
, addressed issues related to public security on Wednesday.
The new session took place at the Government Palace in Lima.
The Council of Ministers was held "within the framework of strengthening the frontal fight against crime," the Presidency of the Republic indicated on X.
Similarly, the Presidential Office mentioned that this session prioritizes the issue of citizen security "to guarantee the well-being of the population."
Last Tuesday, the president took part in a State Council session, a body that brings together representatives of State powers and the country's main institutions.
Various measures regarding the fight against organized crime were agreed upon at said meeting.
