Peru: Prime Minister meets with district mayors from southern Puno

Peruvian Prime Minister Anibal Torres on Monday morning held a meeting with district mayors from the southern area of Puno region.

The aim of the meeting, held at the headquarters of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers (PCM), was to listen to their problems and to address development projects in their localities.

The meeting brought together mayors from districts of Desaguadero, Huatasani, Amantani, Paratia, Pisacoma, Tiquillaca and a representative of the Rosaspata District Municipality.

Also attending were Housing, Construction and Sanitation Minister Geiner Alvarado, Deputy Minister of Pedagogical Management and Institutional Management Walter Hernandez, and a representative of the National Program for School Infrastructure (Pronied).
