APEC Peru 2024: FA Min meets with member economies' embassy officials

Ministers Javier Gonzalez-Olaechea (Foreign Affairs), Walter Ortiz (Interior), as well as Regional Governors Rohel Sanchez (Arequipa) and Cesar Acuña (La Libertad), held a meeting with ambassadors of APEC member economies to coordinate security aspects for the forum meetings set to take place in Arequipa and Trujillo this year.

At this session, Minister Gonzalez-Olaechea indicated that one of the main components of APEC Peru 2024 is the security to be provided by our country during the activities to be held within the framework of this forum.

During the meeting, the governors and Peruvian National Police General Commander Victor Zanabria presented the actions to be deployed for the safety of those delegations participating in the APEC meetings in Arequipa (May) and Trujillo (August).


Its participation in this important forum, since 1998, has generated important benefits for the country.
