President Dina Boluarte on Tuesday stated that her Government is firm in always seeking dialogue and consensus to confront crime and extortion, problems against which she calls for the unity of all Peruvian citizens.

"My Government remains firm, always seeking dialogue and consensus to confront problems such as crime and extortion; that is where we must unite as Peruvians," she expressed.

The Head of State said the Executive Branch wants students to attend school in a peaceful environment and for Peruvians to go to work with peace of mind.

"The unity of all Peruvians and the efforts of the special police group created to confront extortionists will be key to this. Together, united, we will succeed," she stated.

Within this framework, the top official reiterated her call for dialogue and unity among Peruvians, as the country needs everyone united and with the truth at the forefront.

The President inaugurated the Victor Raul Haya de la Torre Educational Institution in Lima's eastern Ate district. It is the 16th Bicentennial School built as a sign of her administration's commitment to education.

"We are excited to see the innovative classrooms, laboratories for technical training in cabinetmaking, carpentry, automotive mechanics, robotics, among others, which will strengthen the training of our students," she said.

The Head of State indicated that these tools are for the future. Thus, she asked the students of this educational institution to take care of them.

The latest Bicentennial School was built thanks to an investment worth over S/81 million (above US$21.53 million) and is part of the 75 Bicentennial Schools that will be delivered by the Government, benefiting 118,000 students nationwide.

"In this team, there is no room for corruption, this scourge against which we fight; we are focused on continuing to build a country for everyone; we work with clean hands," she pointed out.
