celebrates 199 years of existence today.
Within this framework, various public and private institutions conveyed their greetings and recognition for the informative and service work that this publication has been performing since its founding by liberator Simon Bolivar.
The Ministry of Labor and Employment Promotion expressed its gratitude for the dissemination of information relevant to the country.
The same message acknowledges that El Peruano is "the oldest publication in Latin America" in terms of journalistic work.
In turn, the Ministry of Production congratulated the team working at the gazette.
"We recognize the journalistic work you perform, providing truthful and objective information to serve all Peruvians about what is happening in our country and the world," reads the congratulatory letter.
Via another letter, Petroperu transmitted the corresponding greeting to the Official Gazette.
Additionally, the State-owned hydrocarbon company expressed its commitment to "continue collaborating in favor of the country's development."
The Presidency of the Council of Ministers also joined in greetings to El Peruano, expressing its best wishes via social media.
"Thanks for your hard work in providing official information for 199 years," the PCM stated.
The Ministry of Transportation and Communications expressed its recognition for the "tireless informative work, key to the history and development of Peru" conducted by El Peruano.
"We appreciate your commitment to journalism and for being an ally in the dissemination of initiatives that foster the well-being of all Peruvians," it added.
Moreover, the National Council for the Integration of Persons with Disabilities extended its greetings to the Official Gazette.
The State-run institution stressed that the work conducted by this media outlet strengthens freedom of expression.
"We highlight your contribution to the dissemination of the State's advancements and services in favor of Peruvians," it stated.
