The
Central Reserve Bank also detailed that, in the seventh month of this year,
the progress of public works increased by 30.6% due to greater investment from the central government, as well as from regional and local ones.
By type of works, investment increased in the construction of non-residential buildings, risk prevention works, basic services, and road infrastructure.
Cement consumption
For its part, domestic cement consumption decreased by 0.5% in July due to lower demand in the Peruvian north and south.
On the other hand, Unacem shipments increased by 2.7% due to higher bulk shipments, which grew by 20.2%.
