Peru participates in 80th UN General Assembly opening ceremony

Peru is present at the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly and takes part in the opening ceremony of this global event, marking the start of its official activities.

According to the official agenda, the top official will participate in the high-level meeting to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the United Nations.

The session will focus on the significance and relevance of the United Nations Charter and its role in addressing common global challenges.

Subsequently, the President will attend the high-level meeting for the 30th anniversary of the Fourth World Conference on Women.

There, she will deliver a speech aimed at promoting gender equality and women's empowerment.

The Head of State will then attend a meeting of Ibero-American businesspeople, organized by the Adam Smith Center for Economic Freedom and the Ibero-American Business Alliance Council (CEAPI).

At the event, Peru's strengths for investment will be highlighted.

In the afternoon, Mrs. Boluarte will hold a meeting with ambassadors and a remote briefing with Prime Minister Eduardo Arana.

In the evening, she will attend the closing of the high-level meeting for the 30th anniversary of the Fourth World Conference on Women and the working dinner of the 
United Nations General Assembly Platform of Women Leaders.
