Alex Heilbrunn was the overall winner of the 73rd edition of 2025 President of the Republic Prize, the oldest still-running peruvian automobile competition that gets high altitudes in the mountains.

The legendary automobile competition took place in the city of Canta, reaching localities such as Marcapomacocha, Corpacancha, and Santa Barbaba in the department of Junín, and reaching 4,500 meters above sea level.

There were four stages on 100% dirt roads, where out of 37 registered participants, 32 managed to complete the course. A historic and challenging competition with extreme weather that tested machines and crews across nine categories.

At the end of the day, a new president would be inaugurated, as it was the first time that the name of Alex Heilbrunn entered this select list. Together with Juan Pedro Cilloniz as co-driver, with extensive experience, they were the fastest, achieving a total time of 1:21:25.6 in their Ford Fiesta Rally 3.

The duo won all four contested stages and remained in first place in the overall ranking throughout the competition.

It is worth noting that the ACP (Automobile Club of Peru) renews its commitment in each event to the towns that are part of the route and enable the development of the competition, carrying out various actions in each locality that is part of the rally.

This time was no exception: 100 school kits were delivered to girls and boys. An action carried out by the drivers and co-drivers, thus reinforcing the bond between sport and the community.

With this event, the rally championship of the Peruvian Automobile Club completed its second date and maintains expectations to complete the five date that make it up in the localities of Chilca, Coayllo, and Pisco.
