Peruvian driver Daniella Oré reached a memorable performance in the second round of the Argentine National Formula, held this past weekend, managing to climb onto the podium at the San Nicolás circuit.
Despite starting from the last place on the grid, Oré showed her talent and determination by moving up positions from the very first lap, overtaking several rivals and taking advantage of some off-track incidents, eventually reaching an impressive third place.
Last Sunday, Daniella showed her best form after a gearbox issue on Saturday had forced her to abandon the first race of the weekend prematurely.
With a renewed mindset and plenty of grit, the Peruvian bounced back in the second race, earning valuable points that put her back in contention for the championship.
"I’m happy; it was a very unexpected weekend. On Saturday, we had gearbox problems, and on Sunday, I had to start form 16th position. On the last lap, I managed to move into third place and get on the podium. I’m very happy to have recovered and scored for the championship," said Daniella Oré after her standout performance.
The next round of the Argentine National Formula will take place on May 25 at the Oscar and Juan Gálvez Autodrome (Circuit No. 8) in Buenos Aires, where Daniella Oré will seek a victory that allows her to continue climbing the championship standings.
The young driver continues to establish herself as one of the main representatives of Peruvian motorsport abroad, proving her ability to overcome adversity and compete at the highest level.
