Andina News Agency and Armenpress move toward a strategic alliance

The director of the Armenpress News Agency, Narine Nazaryan, and Felix Paz Quiroz, director of Peru's Andina News Agency, held a conversation on Monday about various opportunities for cooperation and agreed to sign an inter-institutional cooperation agreement to launch a strategic alliance between both media outlets.

Narine Nazaryan welcomed Felix Paz at the headquarters of Armenpress News Agency, where both directors expressed their willingness to strengthen ties in order to cover topics of interest for both nations, such as cultural integration and the promotion of greater understanding between the Armenian and Peruvian nations.

Additionally, emphasis was placed on the need to report on the tourist attractions of both countries. Thus, the promotion of tourism was highlighted as a key area for joint efforts.

During the meeting, Paz visited the newsroom and facilities of Armenpress. Araks Kasyan, deputy director of Armenpress, and Beatriz Arslanyan, editor and translator of the Spanish language department, also joined the gathering.

In this way, the meeting proved fruitful in strengthening media ties between Armenia and Peru.

Yerevan Dialogue 2025

The director of Andina News Agency is in the European country as part of the Yerevan Dialogue 2025 forum, organized by the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

This activity aims to establish peaceful and secure relations and foster new trends with neighboring countries. The event brings together political leaders, experts, and academics to discuss global challenges.
