Government promotes investment opportunities in Peru

The President of the Republic Dina Boluarte, along with her ministerial cabinet, on Wednesday met with a business mission led by United States Under Secretary for Economic Growth, Energy, and Environment, Jose W. Fernandez. This delegation aims to explore investment opportunities in Peru across sectors such as mining, energy, infrastructure, and technology.

Under Secretary Fernandez —who is visiting Lima— participates in a series of dialogues on economic, investment, and infrastructure environment in Peru with groups convened by the Business Council for International Understanding (BCIU).

The guest will join U.S. Ambassador Stephanie Syptak-Ramnath and Peruvian Ambassador Alfredo Ferrero in discussions with officials from the Ministries of Economy-Finance, Energy-Mines, Foreign Trade-Tourism, and Transportation-Communications to highlight the benefits of bilateral cooperation.

He will also participate in a U.S. Agriculture Department roundtable on the intersection of clean energy and sustainable agriculture.
