Peru's Ambassador presents credentials to Emir of Qatar

Diplomat Gonzalo Voto Bernales presented to the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the credentials that accredit him as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Peru to the host State.

Ambassador Voto Bernales conveyed greetings from Peruvian President Dina Boluarte, and expressed our country's desire to further deepen relations between both nations.

In turn, the Emir recalled his visit to Peru in 2018 and stressed his desire to work together so as to strengthen bilateral relations.

The ceremony took place at the Amiri Diwan Palace on September 11.

During the solemn act, the Emir was accompanied by a distinguished delegation of senior officials from Amiri Diwan, headed by State Minister for Foreign Affairs, Soltan bin Saad Al-Muraikhi.

Ambassador Voto Bernales was accompanied by a Peruvian Embassy official, Third Secretary in the Diplomatic Service of the Republic, Joaquin Correa.
