Among the sectors that stood out were: Manufacturing (+6.67%); Agriculture and Livestock (+12.41%); Transportation, Storage, and Messaging (+7.98%); Commerce (+3.45%); Telecommunications and Other Information Services (+4.69%); Government Services (+4.31%); Services Provided to Companies (+3.64%); Accommodation and Restaurants (+4.78%); Fishing (+17.57%); in addition to Electricity, Gas, and Water (+3.11%).
On the other hand, Mining-Hydrocarbons (-2.19%), Finance-Insurance (-2.14%) and Construction (-2.40%) showed unfavorable performances.
The INEI National Production Technical Report indicated that Peru's productive activity increased by 3.11% between January and November 2024, and by 2.75% in the annualized period (December 2023-November 2024).
The Peruvian economy accumulated eight consecutive months of expansion considering the growth recorded in April (+5.42%), May (+5.25%), June (+0.27%), July (+4.58%), August (+3.69%), September (+3.16%), October (+3.38%), and November (+3.93%).
