Peru: Presidential candidate Armando Masse casts vote

Presidential candidate Armando Joaquin Masse Fernandez, representing Partido Democratico Federal (Federal Democratic Party), cast his vote on Sunday, as part of the 2026 General Elections.

Masse Fernandez exercised his right to vote at the University of Lima, located in Lima’s Surco district.

The aspirant arrived at the polling place in the morning to take part in the electoral process alongside other eligible voters.

The candidate completed the voting process as part of the nationwide general elections.

According to the voter registry of the National Registry of Identification and Civil Status (Reniec), more than 27 million Peruvians are eligible to vote at 92,766 polling tables across the country.

In this electoral process, voters will elect the President of the Republic, vice presidents, as well as members of the bicameral Congress (Senators and Deputies) and representatives to the Andean Parliament.

As is known, the 2026 election day began this Sunday at 7:00 a.m. and will run until 6:00 p.m., during which citizens are heading to the polls to choose their next national authorities.
