Conversation at Georgetown University reaffirms U.S.-Peru strong trade, cooperation ties

Within the framework of the cultural promotion and educational relations program of the Embassy of Peru in the United States, a conversation was held between Peruvian Ambassador Alfredo Ferrero and Georgetown University's academic community.

The session highlighted the strong cultural connection between both nations, as well as the opportunities in our country's strategic sectors that consolidate it as one of the United States' key partners in the region.

The talk was attended by over 50 people, including students and professors from the university, U.S. Government officials, members of the diplomatic corps, and academia, who actively participated by issuing engaging questions.

It was broadcast live on the university's YouTube channel, which attracted more than 100 participants.

This event also highlighted the strong cultural connection between both nations, as well as Peru's economic and political relationship with the United States, characterized by strong commercial ties and cooperation in areas of security, fight against drug trafficking, and economic development.

It was held at Georgetown University on January 29.
