President: Perú will have created 138,000 temporary jobs at the end of 2024

Through the Llamkasun Peru program nationwide

The temporary employment program Llamkasun Peru will have created 138,000 temporary jobs at the end of 2024 nationwide, highlighted today the president of the republic, Dina Boluarte.

"There is little time left to end 2024, this year we will be closing with more than 138 thousand temporary jobs nationwide, that is the way we work. Here are the surveys," she said during her participation in an activity carried out in the district of Carabayllo, Lima.

She specified that Llamkasun Peru operates in more than 1,500 districts nationwide improving neighborhoods and giving temporal employment opportunities to vulnerable people, single mothers and people with disabilities.

In the case of the district of Carabayllo, in Lima, President Dina Boluarte said that 848 thousand soles have been allocated for this year to carry out nine activities, and a larger budget for 2025 has been allocated for the entire Llamkasun Peru program.

She also indicated that in this district four bicentennial schools are being built with an investment of 224 million soles which will benefit 4,800 students of pre-school, primary and secondary school, because education is an important issue for her government.




Peru public investment will break record at the end of 2024

In response to the request of the mayor of Carabayllo to build a hospital for the district, president Dina Boluarte said that next year she will return to tell them that they have the approved profile, a file and a budget.

“A district so thriving and fighting needs its hospital, it is a right that assists them,” she asserted.

In front of the workers of this temporary employment program, president Boluarte said that this year the country will close with a growth of 3.2%, being a reference in the region, with a controlled inflation and important international reserves.

“Next year we are projecting the creation of 470 thousand new jobs, I am sure that Peru will continue to grow because when we work together, families grow, they benefit and have a better quality of life,” she said.
